Sands helps Hands 4 Hunger

Sands Brewery helped sponsor Paradise Plates, Hands For Hunger’s second annual fundraiser held in the Crown Ballroom at Atlantis. This event served-up another unforgettable evening to the more than 450 hundred guests who came out in a large show of support and helped to surpass the fundraising goal set for the evening to help fight hunger in The Bahamas. Since Hands for Hunger began in March of 2009, they have already distributed over 200,000 lbs of food to those in need (approximately equal to 200,000 meals served).
